SOVEREIGNTY INTERNATIONAL, INC.
(From Washington meeting)

Statement of Belief

Peace and prosperity emanate from respect of individual national sovereignty, protection of the characteristics of those nations, preservation of the diverse cultures and mores of those nations, and protection of inalienable rights of human beings (as endowed by their creator). Human beings are created with inalienable rights of life, liberty and property. Nations, created by human beings have the right to choose their own forms of sovereign government. The proper function of these sovereign forms of government being the protection of the inalienable rights of its citizens. The centralization of power at the international level takes away from the accountability that national governments have to their citizens.

Concerns:

  1. The abolition of property rights.
  2. Efforts to mold beliefs and attitudes of nations and individuals to those of the United Nations System.
  3. Sovereignty of individual nations is being ceded to the U.N.
  4. The objectives of the U.N. funded commission on global governance.
  5. Impact of the international agenda on domestic policy.
  6. Inadequacy of public awareness of the international agenda on individual lives.
  7. International policies not based upon scientific integrity.
  8. The development and expansion of a global state religion based on biocentrism.
  9. Managed trade being passed off as free trade.
  10. The U.N. consensus process is manipulative and removes accountability from decision makers.
  11. The U.N. population control programs which infringe upon national sovereignty and conflicts with the culture and mores of many nations.
  12. NGO participation is exclusionary.
